IISER Tirupati JRF / Project Associate Recruitment 2026
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati (IISER Tirupati) has released an official notification for the recruitment of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I under an extramural funded research project.
This exciting project focuses on developing antiviral platforms and identifying drugs against Henipaviruses (such as the Nipah virus and Hendra virus). Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview on 16 March 2026.

Educational Qualification & Skills
Essential Qualification:
Candidates must have one of the following from a recognized university or institute:
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences
- BVSc / B.Pharm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Biotechnology / Medicine
Desirable Skills:
Candidates having experience in the following laboratory techniques will be highly preferred:
- Mammalian cell culture
- Virus assays
- Protein expression and purification
- Molecular biology techniques
Salary & Project Details

Initial appointment is for 6 months. The position may be extended based on candidate performance. The job is temporary and project-based.
