BHU Project Associate Recruitment 2026
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released a notification for the recruitment of a Project Associate-I under an MSME-funded research project titled “Prostate Cancer Biomarkers.”
The project will be conducted in collaboration with the Atal Incubation Centre Mahamana Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and MIRNOW LLP. Eligible candidates with a background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry are encouraged to apply.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks in any of the following disciplines:
- Life Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Molecular Biology
- Biochemistry or related discipline
* Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled categories will receive a 5% relaxation in marks (50% minimum).
Preferred Skills & Experience
Candidates with prior experience in the following areas will be given preference:
- Laboratory techniques including PCR and RT-PCR.
- Nucleic acid extraction and Diagnostic molecular techniques.
- Experience working in technology projects, startups, or dedicated research environments.
💰 Fellowship / Salary
The fellowship will be paid as per DST project norms and will depend on the availability of project funds. The salary will be consolidated without any additional allowances.
⏳ Project Duration
Initial appointment: 03 months.
The position is purely contractual. Continuation may depend on candidate performance and ongoing project requirements.
