Biotechnology & Pharmacy Walk-in

The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR-IICB) has announced a Walk-in Interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF-GATE) positions.

Candidates with a B.Pharm (GPAT qualified) or B.Tech in Biotechnology (GATE qualified) are invited to attend the interview. Selected candidates will be eligible for the prestigious JRF-GATE fellowship from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and may also receive an opportunity to register for a PhD under the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following core qualifications:

💊 Pharmacy Candidates

B.Pharm degree with a valid GPAT qualification.

🧬 Biotech Candidates

B.Tech in Biotechnology with a valid GATE score.

Additional Requirement: Minimum 85 percentile in GATE is required as per CSIR HRDG guidelines.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum Age: 28 years (as on the date of interview).

Age relaxation is applicable for the following categories as per Government of India rules:

• SC / ST candidates
• OBC candidates
• Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates
• Women candidates
