The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati (IISER Tirupati) has released a notification for the recruitment of a Technical Officer-II under an extramural funded research project.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill one of the following three qualification options:
Option 1 (Bachelor's / Master's)
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences OR Master’s Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences OR BVSc / Biomedical Engineering / Biotechnology / Medicine.
+ 4 years experience in R&D in academic institutions, industry, or S&T organizations.
Option 2 (M.Tech / M.E)
M.Tech in Biotechnology OR Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
+ 2 years experience in R&D.
Option 3 (PhD)
PhD in Biological / Natural / Life Sciences.
+ At least one first-author peer-reviewed research publication from doctoral work.
Desirable Skills:
Candidates having experience in the following will be preferred:
- Mammalian cell culture
- Virus research
- Protein expression and purification
- Molecular biology techniques
💰 Salary Package
₹57,000 + 9% HRA per month
⏳ Age Limit
Maximum 50 years (as on the closing date)
Project Duration & Deadlines
- Initial appointment: 6 months.
- The position may be extended based on performance and project requirements.
- This job is temporary and project-based.
