Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate-I under a SERB-DST Sponsored Extramural Project titled:

“Molecular Characterization and Development of Novel Targeted Therapies for Neglected Tropical Diseases”
(Project Code: GAP-0241)

💰 Fellowship

• ₹31,000 per month + 18% HRA (For candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE)
• ₹25,000 per month + 18% HRA (For non-NET/GATE candidates)
• Initially for 1 year (extendable up to the project duration based on performance)
• Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Requirement	Details
Essential Qualification	Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech) from a recognized University
Acceptable Fields	Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Zoology
Minimum Marks	At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

⭐ Desirable Qualification

• Practical hands-on experience in Molecular Biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR).
• Experience with protein expression, purification, and mammalian cell culture.
• Basic knowledge of Bioinformatics tools and data analysis.

🎂 Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application.
• Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates.
• Age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as per GoI rules.
