BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

BRIC-NABI invites applications for the following purely temporary research positions:
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 Post
- Research Associate-I (RA-I) – 03 Posts
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01 Post
1️⃣ Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Project Title: “Exosomes from plants: isolation and characterization and their effects on adipogenesis” (NABI CORE)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Vikas Rishi
Duration: 1 Year
| ๐ฐ Salary | ₹42,000 per month + HRA |

| ๐ Age Limit | 32 years (Relaxation as per GOI norms) |
| ๐ Essential Qualification | Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences or Professional Course. Qualified through CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / GPAT or selected through national-level exams (DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.). Minimum 2 years research experience as JRF. |
⭐ Desired Experience: Advanced molecular biology and biochemical techniques, animal cell culture, transcriptome and small RNA sequencing analysis.
2️⃣ Research Associate-I (RA-I)
There are 3 openings under different projects for RA-I:
(A) Lignin Valorization Project (GAP-27 CIAB)
- PI: Dr. Sasikumar Elumalai
- Salary: ₹58,000 + HRA | Age Limit: 40 years
- Qualification: PhD in Chemical Sciences / Chemical Engineering with at least one SCI-indexed first-author publication.
- Desired Experience: Chemical synthesis and characterization.
(B) Carbon Capture and Utilization (GAP-101)
- Salary: ₹58,000 + HRA | Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualification: PhD in Chemical Sciences / Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Biotechnology with at least one SCI-indexed first-author publication.
(C) Genomics for Climate-Resilient Brassica Crops (NABI CORE)
- PI: Dr. Sivasubramanian R
- Salary: ₹58,000 + HRA | Age Limit: 40 years
- Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology with minimum two SCI-indexed publications.
- Desired Skills: Genetics & genomics of crop species, NGS data analysis, Genome sequencing & RNA-Seq analysis, Plant transformation & tissue culture, Genome editing.
3️⃣ Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project Title: “Genetic basis of variation in yield and grain nutrient profile in rice under elevated temperature” (GAP-78)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Rajeev Nayan Bahuguna

| ๐ Essential Qualification | PG Degree in Basic Sciences / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Plant Physiology / Life Sciences. Qualified through CSIR-UGC NET / GATE or other national exams. |
⭐ Desired Experience: Phenotyping, Marker-assisted selection, qRT-PCR, Molecular biology techniques.
