The Scientific Editor will:

- Make final acceptance decisions.

📝 Key Responsibilities
✔ Manuscript Evaluation
- Assess research papers within journal scope.
- Make "final accept" decisions after reviewing peer reviewer comments.
- Ensure research integrity and quality standards.
✔ Editorial Strategy & Development
- Suggest Special Collection topics and Guest Editors.
- Support Editorial Board recruitment.
- Provide insights for marketing initiatives.
✔ Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Senior Scientific Editor
- Journal Manager
- Editorial Board Members
Goal: Maintain journal reputation and performance metrics.
✔ Workflow & KPI Management
- Handle high volume of submissions annually.
- Ensure publishing KPIs and timelines are achieved.
- Promote Open Access best practices.
🎓 Required Qualifications
- PhD in Medical Science (Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related field)
- Postdoctoral experience (Desirable but not mandatory)
- Previous editorial experience in scholarly publishing (Required)
